                                                            Waipara swimming holes

Plonk! Good job Dayton! Below me is the drop of death into the blue crystal clear water. 321 go! Ahhh my leg slaps the water like a gorilla wants his delicious food. Climbing out of the water hole as my leg scrapes on the green algae I thought to my self come here algae. Donk! Ooow who did that? "Sorry that rope swing hurt. Gloomy green water I see from a distance I thought to my self how do I get down? Well I'll jump ahhhhh. A black eel mysteriously appears from his mysterious black hole, it slithers around my feet like a snake on a mission.

Running up for the jump of my life as the slippery slide makes me tumble and cut my over sized leg wide open. Finally back up here ready to leap into the crystal clear water. Splash! Holy thats fun bringing in the rope swing for the person in blue. Lifting my body up and out of the blackhole. Now that was fun!

Sprinting back over the hard gravely ground in my groddy green towel. Running past the trampoline as I hear the terrific sound of the gigantic springs on the trampoline. Jumping round because I decided to stop by on the trampoline. I can't wait for dinner.

Student Reflection
In my writing one of my goals is Attempt complex punctuation.
I did/didnot show this goal here because I showed this a tiny bit but not much I tried to
use speech marks but I forgot to add them.

In my writing one of my goals is Edit work, checking that the meaning clear and the
writing has impact.

I did/did not show this goal here because I did this goal well because i edited my story
easily but i need to not get lazy and not edit

My next step is: To under stand one of my goals better because some of the punctaution
I cant understand.

Teacher Comment:
Mason, I like the way that you have created such a clear image in the reader's mind. You
have used a range of vocab that is descriptive and draws attention. Well done!
Your next step is to add more complex punctuation where it fits. Miss Hurley.

Well say i couldn't jump that far I could jump of some thing to get more air and it will be easier to jump
because i will be jumping down.
